Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with violet slacks. Her chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a red shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and many gnolls want her driven away
