Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: She is an average looking western female in her early mid-life. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has moderate length blonde hair. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of giants
