History: Liftrasa hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Sutha and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he wants revenge against illithids
