History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder mother left her crippled. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Arara never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Gurdis was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gurdis decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
