Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Varis was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Eloise does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Banker business.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
