History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
