History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Loopmottin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
