History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Nala was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Crown-heir. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Tarhun and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
