History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult.
