Description: This malnourished man has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. His brown hair is cut short. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a hunchback. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears long strands of opal and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her red hair is long and unkept. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She carries a battered falchion and tarnished club as well. Her blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for her, and Galiena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
