Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Orcs. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears long strands of jet and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears a tan tunic with black highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her hair is chestnut and curly. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: He wears a black coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. He carries with him a set of swords, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blue hair is braided into rings. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Balam has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and a rival would like him out of the picture
