History: Born in the north to a Banker, Serpent learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Stableman, but she got bored and became a Banker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Banker for the past few years.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is an amazing painter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge
