Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was born into a rich family. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is greedy
