History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
