History: Chem lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spy and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
