History: Heskan hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nuraval grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nuraval has worked very hard to control his curse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and balancing his hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult
