History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Markosian has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Markosian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
