History: Medrash lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has never given up on his writing dream.

She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
