History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Carter. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Emma lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She struck the Carter job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the west to a Hunter, Rûg learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Rûg was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
