History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a spear on his belt, and he perpetually has his spear ready. His red fur has been sun bleached extensively. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by goblins. At a young age his mother died while driving off some goblins. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born to a Shipwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
