In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jezebeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
