History: Ea lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Miner. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
