Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Thamuz was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gimble alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and her religion dominates her actions
