History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nirgel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker mother left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His gold crest is smooth and relatively long. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he desires power and/or immortality
