Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scythe, but if one is not available he will default to his mace. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His ears are large.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is long and silver with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest, and carries rapiers. Her crest is bronze and curly. She has a dull look in her gold eyes.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears long strands of opal and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He wears a colorful flower in his bronze crest. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a Body Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He got into the Body Guard business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult
