Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. Recently the stress of being a Courier has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She very much looks the part of a Dyer. Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Lavinia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lavinia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a Dyer soon after.
