History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Thamuz was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Thamuz's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
