Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Gifted from a young age, Philomena studied abroad. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his brother
