Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Ranala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Biri and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
