Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Beleth lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Beleth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
