Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tarak's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A true patriot, Tarak would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tarak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Five was born with his father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Chay has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
