History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Emerald has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fonkin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
