History: Gesrethe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.
