Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.

History: Born in the west to a Mercenary, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
