History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Her auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Vaina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Interpreter, her father struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
