History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
