Personality: Salanop wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Salanop's homeland. Salanop decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Ratanák hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
