Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears black trousers with tan and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His red crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shedinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Shedinn managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Eggren was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Body Guard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
