Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has black hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving A true patriot, Helen would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Guard business.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Stacee liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Ratak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Ratak took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: Kipper is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kipper grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion
