History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Elama was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Elama was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Lorilla learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
