Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His black hair is knotted and matted. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: Balimaar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a fancy violet suit. His hair is blonde and curly. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He has a dull look in his red eyes.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a longsword, but if one is not available she will default to her quarterstaff. With bright brown hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Menny embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Menny was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Menny's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Menny and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
