History: Patrin hails from a village terrorized by drow. After coming to the age of reason, Patrin took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: Standing 5'2", this man has the majority of his body covered in plate. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Ivellios is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ivellios was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ivellios was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Vlorn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand his business

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Paela learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She struck the Cartwright job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and many illithids want her driven away
