History: Baz hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Qualen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has achieved small success as a Stylist.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
