History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Mary was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
