He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His auburn hair is knotted and matted. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Taklinn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Taklinn was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carpenter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: Standing 5'4", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a whip, but if one is not available she will default to her glaive. Her brass crest is greasy and uncared for. She is baby faced.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
