History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Ombul was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ombul's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cook for the past few years.
