History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Qemuel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.
