Description: She dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly kukris and bastard swords. Her white hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: She wears suspenders and tan workpants. Her shirt is white, and she wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is long and white with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. She has brown eyes and a tan hat with a white feather.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Malquis took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'7". She wears a black vest and prefers pastel and blue shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her copper crest is long and unkept. Her gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has decided she is irredeemable
