History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Purah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
