History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: 3'0" and muscular, this eastern woman likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vani embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Vani is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Vani was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Vani was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Vani's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and wants to work out more often

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Prâk was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bowyer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kite grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to prove her worth to the world
